Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date or transfer date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Provisional Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed before hire date.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; enrolled in accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial respiratory assessments and care interventions to support patient recovery and comfort.
• Deliver prescribed respiratory medications and treatments under supervision, prioritizing patient safety.
• Document and communicate vital patient updates to ensure seamless, high-quality transitions in care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans to aid in discharge.
