South College invites applications for an adjunct instructor in the Respiratory Therapy Program on our campus. You will teach didactic and laboratory courses, support curriculum review, and assess student learning while promoting professional growth within the program.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least two years of teaching or clinical instruction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Experience teaching or as a clinical instructor/preceptor in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and laboratory courses in the Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Coordinate and evaluate students during laboratory courses.
• Assist the Program Director with fiscal planning and recommending the purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Attend advisory committee meetings.
• Provide academic advising and career-related counseling for students.
• Maintain professional development in current healthcare trends and teaching practices.
