Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment and supplies per treatment parameters.
• Monitor patient responses (vital signs, oximetry) and report changes to the preceptor.
• Document data in the patient chart following service completion.
• Maintain respiratory care supplies inventory and department cleanliness.
