Job summary

Countryside Manor in Fremont, Ohio is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy Director to lead our RT team and uphold high clinical standards for residents with complex respiratory needs. This role will partner with nursing, physicians, and leadership to ensure safe, high-quality care on a daily basis.

The RTD will oversee daily respiratory services, support staff development, and lead initiatives to recruit, onboard, and retain skilled therapists.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license required.
• RRT certification preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ventilator and long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leader who supports the team and leads by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support the Respiratory Therapy team.
• Oversee respiratory treatments, equipment, documentation, and clinical compliance.
• Partner with the DON, Administrator, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor resident respiratory needs and support care planning.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of RT staff.

Respiratory Therapy Director (RTD)
Countryside Manor | Fremont, Ohio

Countryside Manor located in Fremont, Ohio is seeking an experienced, hands-on Respiratory Therapy Director to lead and support our respiratory team. This is a key leadership role for an RT who enjoys building strong teams, maintaining high clinical standards, and making a real difference for residents with complex respiratory needs.

As the Respiratory Therapy Director, you will oversee daily respiratory services, support and develop RT staff, collaborate closely with nursing and clinical leadership, and help ensure safe, high-quality care for our residents.
