Job summary

Countryside Manor in Fremont, Ohio is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy Director to lead a clinical RT team and oversee daily respiratory services. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes high clinical standards, collaboration with nursing and medical staff, and improvement of care for residents with complex respiratory needs.

The ideal candidate will have an Ohio license (RRT preferred) and prior supervisory experience, with ventilator/LTC experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license required.
• RRT preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ventilator and long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on leader who supports the team and leads by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and support the Respiratory Therapy team.
• Oversee respiratory treatments, equipment, documentation, and clinical compliance.
• Partner with the DON, Administrator, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor resident respiratory needs and support care planning.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of RT staff.
• Help maintain a positive, accountable, team-focused culture.

Countryside Manor located in Fremont, Ohio is seeking an experienced, hands-on Respiratory Therapy Director to lead and support our respiratory team. This is a key leadership role for an RT who enjoys building strong teams, maintaining high clinical standards, and making a real difference for residents with complex respiratory needs.

As the Respiratory Therapy Director, you will oversee daily respiratory services, support and develop RT staff, collaborate closely with nursing and clinical leadership, and help ensure safe, high-quality care for our residents.
