Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care in a skilled nursing environment. You will assess residents, develop care plans, and coordinate with the RN Nurse Manager to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires Minnesota Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, CPR/BLS certification, and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota License as a Respiratory Therapist.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts focused assessments of residents using data from interviews, observations and review of medical records.
• Develops Respiratory Plan of Care and communicates resident needs to primary caregivers; reports changes to the Nurse Manager.
• Monitors and documents resident care outcomes; provides recommendations to improve quality of life.
• Operates and maintains respiratory care equipment; responds to emergencies and airway management needs.
• Participates in care conferences and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
