Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Anderson, SC. This full-time daytime role offers an hourly wage of $31.82 to $42.00, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus, with a 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. schedule.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing care for critical cases, and supporting quality improvement. Requirements include NBRC credentials, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and licensure.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
