The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a geriatric, skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate holds a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and is licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state, with BLS certification.

You will assess, initiate therapies, document thoroughly, and participate in IDT meetings. Responsibilities include bedside treatments, equipment checks, and compliance with facility protocols.

Formación

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program with licensure as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice with BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory therapy to treat various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and check equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and complete daily, weekly, monthly documentation.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in caseload tracking and audits.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings; follow facility procedures.
