Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for weekend shifts (7pm–7am) at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia. The ideal candidate will perform patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care interventions for adult patients, including blood gas analysis and education.

Eligible candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, be licensed (RRT) and meet state licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• No experience required.
• RRT license and Georgia state licensing upon hire required.
• BCLS, ACLS required upon hire; PALS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Perform protocols for adult care areas and critical care procedures.
• Conduct blood gas analysis; maintain and manage equipment.
• Provide patient education.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
