Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform patient assessments, respiratory procedures, and support critical care in adult care areas.

Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences. Licensure: RRT in Georgia, with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RRT license by the State of Georgia.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required (PALS within 60 days).
• No prior experience required.

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures per protocols.
• Carry out critical care procedures in adult care areas.
• Perform blood gas analysis and monitor equipment.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
