Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to support adult patients with assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care interventions.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, and licensure/certifications (RRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS within 60 days) with no prior experience required. Weekend hours are 7pm–7am and work is on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• No prior work experience is required.
• RRT license and state licensure upon hire are required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Follow protocols for adult critical care in relevant units.
• Conduct blood gas analyses and manage related equipment.
• Provide patient education and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
