Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital campus in Georgia. The role involves performing patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care tasks in adult units, with a focus on blood gas analysis and equipment management.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, is an RRT licensed in Georgia, and has BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Weekend night shifts (7pm–7am) are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• No experience required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Georgia state license required upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
