Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Georgia team. You will perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas, including critical care tasks and blood gas analysis.

You will maintain equipment and educate patients, supporting a weekend night coverage model. Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, state licensure in Georgia, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Licenses must be current and state-licensed in Georgia on hire.
• Strong patient communication and care collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas.
• Follow protocols for critical care procedures and blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and manage all respiratory equipment and educate patients.
• Support shift teams during weekend night coverage.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
