Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide skilled assessments, treatments, and education across the care continuum. The role supports residents with complex pulmonary needs in a sub-acute and long-term care setting.

Qualifications include RRT credential and active state licensure; 3 years' experience preferred, with tracheostomy and ventilator management experience in SNF/LTACH/hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families and clinical teams.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management preferred.
• Current state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive chest assessments and respiratory examinations.
• Develop, evaluate, and modify individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosols, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and initiate support as needed.
• Educate residents and families on treatments and equipment use.
• Document treatments and progress accurately.
