Qualifications

• RRT credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Minimal 3 years respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management in SNF/Hospital settings required.

Responsibilities

• Perform chest assessments and respiratory examinations for residents.
• Consult with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic testing including lung function and blood gas evaluation.
• Administer respiratory therapies (oxygen, aerosols, chest physiotherapy).
• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and initiate support when needed.
• Educate residents and families on treatments and device use.
• Document treatments and progress per clinical standards.
