Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Practitioner in the state of employment.
• BLS on hire and ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain licenses and certifications for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor respiratory care equipment and ventilators.
• Conduct prescribed respiratory treatments and airway management.
• Document patient education, treatment responses, and chart updates.
• Record treatments and patient status in respiratory care records and MARs.
• Perform bedside care including trach and suction as policy dictates.
