Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer safe respiratory care, monitor ventilation, and assess patients. You will document care, teach patients and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include intubation support, ABG sampling, and assisting with bronchoscopy procedures as needed, with emphasis on patient safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy education required for credentialing via NBRC.
• Current license to practice Respiratory Therapy in the relevant state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care per physician orders across hospital settings.
• Manage, monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation and oxygen delivery.
• Perform ABG sampling and analysis and related quality control.
• Document care, outcomes and handoffs accurately.
• Assist in staff training and participate in rounds and in-services.
