North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is actively seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our care team. Shifts include 7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles.

Compensation ranges from $40 to $48 per hour, all-inclusive, with a $5 PIB for full-time staff. The Respiratory Therapist will perform skilled assessments, education, and therapies for residents with complex pulmonary needs, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to

Formación

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management in a skilled nursing facility, LTACH, or hospital setting required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage residents, families, and clinical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive chest assessments and respiratory examinations for a diverse resident population.
• Consult with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, evaluate, and modify individualized treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic testing, including lung capacity measurements and evaluation of blood gas levels.
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent residents, including initiation of ventilator support when necessary.
• Conduct regular monitoring of residents’ respiratory status and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments, equipment use, and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and resident progress in accordance with clinical standards.
