The role requires ARRT registration as an RRT and current ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE certifications, with focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality patient care in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Proficient in respiratory procedures with safety protocols.
• Effective communication with healthcare teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality prior to procedure.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing procedures as assigned.
• Follows respiratory protocols and safety standards.
• Maintains documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Ensures PPE use and infection control compliance.
