Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide skilled respiratory care in our facilities. The role involves administering therapy, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring equipment is properly set up and maintained as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include completion of a NBRC-approved program with at least one year of clinical practice under medical direction, plus current BCLS certification and state licensure.

Qualifications

• NBRC approved program and one year of clinical practice under medical direction.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and state licensure for Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care procedures under physician direction.
• Assess residents and administer prescribed therapies and medications.
• Monitor and document patient response and vital signs.
• Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including ventilators.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care procedures.
• Participate in emergency response and CPR when needed.
