Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide skilled care in a skilled nursing facility setting. Under medical direction, you will perform respiratory procedures, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to implement care plans for adult and geriatric residents.

Requirements include completion of an NBRC accredited program, at least one year of clinical practice, and current BCLS certification with state licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of NBRC approved respiratory therapy program.
• At least one year of clinical practice under medical direction.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures under supervision and physician directions.
• Assess residents, administer therapy and monitor response.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ventilators.
• Document care and communicate with nurses and family.
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory therapies.
