Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Bethlehem, PA seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care across acute and rehabilitation settings.

The role requires an Associate's degree with a Bachelor’s preferred, and an active Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist license. You will manage inhalation therapies, ventilator support, and patient education under supervision, aiding safe outcomes and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience required; clinical experience in all areas of respiratory care preferred.
• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist license required; BLS/CPR for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS within 6 months for LTACH/Specialty; PALS within 6 months for Pediatric setting.

Responsabilités

• Delivers quality care by integrating examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and intervention to optimize outcomes.
• Administers inhalants and aerosolized medications, operates ventilators, delivers gas therapy per protocols.
• Records patient services by documenting, dating, authenticating examinations, interventions and outcomes; bills for interventions.
• Promotes safe and clean working environment by complying with environment of care and safety policies.
• Analyzes discharge planning and provides home instructions, follow-up, or referrals as needed.
