AdaptHealth in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support to deliver specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. This field clinician role blends hands-on patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes outside hospital walls.

You will assess and adjust ventilator care plans, train patients and caregivers, document visits, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from AMA-approved respiratory program.
• One year of clinical experience with ventilator exposure or as HME/Respiratory Therapist.
• Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states served by the branch.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings.
• Perform clinical assessments and document care plans and outcomes.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on ventilator equipment and usage.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for safe, coordinated care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and other duties as assigned.
