Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC is seeking part-time Respiratory Therapist coverage with strong clinical skills. You will assess, treat, educate, and monitor patients requiring respiratory care, working within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and documentation in the EMR. Requires NC RT licensure, NBRC, BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP preferred with 90-day attainment after hire.

Qualificações

• North Carolina licensed RT with NBRC licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS and NRP preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current to date on computer skills and EMR use.

Responsabilidades

• Administers respiratory medications and therapies as ordered.
• Ventilator setup and monitoring.
• Non-invasive ventilation setup and monitoring.
• Airway management and related procedures as needed.
• Responds to respiratory emergencies (code blues, rapid responses).
• Documents assessment findings, therapy outcomes, and changes in status.
• Organizes daily RT assignments based on patient acuity.
• Educates patients and families on respiratory conditions and discharge.
• Performs preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
