Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• State licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner/RT in the working state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and equipment.
• Administers prescribed respiratory therapies and monitors outcomes.
• Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures per policy.
• Operates and manages mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and recommends plans of care.
• Documents therapy and results in EMR.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and patients.
• Maintains safety and regulatory compliance.

Education
