The role requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and licensure in Georgia, with NBRC-registered status preferred. 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy is desirable, along with BLS, ACLS and PALS certification within the stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 year / Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• 1-2 years Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
• License: Georgia Composite Board license Respiratory Care Professional; NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS within specified timelines.
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation considered based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive respiratory procedures after competency assessment.
• Provide care planning, treatment and re-evaluation based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and ensure accurate dosing with Omnicell workflow.
• Document services accurately in electronic systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation and monitor oxygenation.
