Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to collaborate with physicians, nurses and the health team to deliver medications, promote bronchial hygiene, and manage ventilators while monitoring oxygenation for patients. This position supports weekend shifts and full-time hours.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and 1–2 years of experience, plus ACLS, PALS, BLS, and RRT credentials; NRP for NICU RRTs only is required.

Qualifications

• Two year/Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• 1-2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience is required.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, RRT; NRP NICU RRT only.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering medications, promoting bronchial hygiene, managing mechanical ventilators, and monitoring oxygenation status of patients.
