Job summary

100 LCMC Health seeks a Trainer for Ventilator Assisted Care Programs to organize and deliver home and community-based trainings. The role develops goals to meet needs of agencies and educators involved with clients in the community.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in Pediatrics and holds NBRC certification with state licensure in Respiratory Therapy. Strong communication, presentation, and event coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Pediatrics.
• Graduate from AMA School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and implements home and community-based trainings for the assigned patient group.
• Develops goals and objectives to achieve training as requested by agencies and staff.

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist – National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist – State Board of Medical Examiners.

Skills and Abilities

• Communication and customer relation skills.
• Develops goals and objectives to achieve appropriate training as requested/needed by various agencies and school education staff caring for clients in the community.
• Computer skills, computer programs, give presentations, and coordinate events.
