Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center. This full-time role offers a 0.9 FTE with day/night rotation (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and every other weekend/holiday schedule.

Similar to other roles, you will be contributing to evidence-based practice with protocol-driven care. Starting minimum rate is $30.40 per hour with up to $5.50 shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends, plus a $15,000 hiring incentive and $7,500

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC certification.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory care needs and plan treatments.
• Perform and document patient assessments.
• Manage ventilator support and airway care.
• Provide age-appropriate patient and family education.
• Assist with intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients.
