Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The role is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) with Night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and every other weekend/holiday. Work in a collaborative environment focused on patient care and evidence-based practices.

The compensation includes a $25.60 minimum hourly rate, up to $5.50 shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends, plus relocation assistance up to $7,500 and a $15,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Required).

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient respiratory care needs and plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates treatments.
• Establishes appropriate care plans and communicates with the care team.
• Performs and documents aerosolized meds, secretion management, oxygen therapy, and airway care.
• Initiates and manages conventional and high-frequency ventilators per protocol.
• Educates patients and families on disease management and participates in transport of ventilated patients.
