Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Per Diem Respiratory Therapists to assess patients' care needs and provide excellent patient experiences. The position offers competitive pay starting at $30.40 per hour, with increased rates for experienced individuals and shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work.

Ideal candidates will be Registered Respiratory Therapists with at least one year of experience and a graduate from a relevant training program. The role provides flexibility for scheduling, allowing self-scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related work experience required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist – National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory care needs based on a variety of data.
• Plan, organize, perform, and evaluate treatment modalities to meet those needs.
• Provide excellent patient/family experience by optimizing customer interactions.
• Perform and document thorough patient assessments.
• Establish appropriate care plans and communicate with patient care team members.
