Arbors of Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support residents in a ventilator-capable skilled nursing and rehab facility in Springfield, OH. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients, collaborating with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality care.

This role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, independent work, and proactive communication with families. A supportive leadership team and ongoing education opportunities help guide your respiratory practice.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT credentials; AMA‑approved respiratory program graduate.
• Active Ohio RCP license required; CPR certification.
• Ventilation certification preferred; new grads welcome with mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory assessments and oxygen therapy evaluations.
• Manage ventilator patients and assist with vent checks and decannulation.
• Perform respiratory treatments (nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP, airway clearance).
• Document assessments, consultations, and care plans accurately and promptly.
• Communicate condition changes to nursing leadership.
• Ensure respiratory equipment is maintained and compliant.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Support staff education and clinical guidance.
