Regency Hospital – Oregon is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN day shifts in Oregon, OH. You will deliver respiratory care, evaluate patient needs, and contribute to care plans.

The role requires NBRC credential, BLS, ACLS on hire, and state licensure; 1 year of related experience is preferred. Per diem schedule with weekend differentials; orientation and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC credential or state equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be active by start date.
• Current state licensure required for practice.
• ACLS certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement in patient care.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) Day (6:00 am - 6:30 pm; 12-Hour Shifts)

Compensation: $44 Per Hour; Shift Differentials for weekends

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
