Job summary

Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a full-time day shift (6:00am–6:30pm, 12-hour shifts). Compensation ranges from $33.43 to $45.00 per hour, with weekend differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The RT will support care in our hospital across locations as needed.

Minimum requirements include an active NBRC CRT/RRT credential, BLS, current state licensure, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Preferred one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.

Location: Oregon, OH
