Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our 111-bed skilled nursing facility. The RT will provide respiratory treatments, manage ventilators, and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
The role requires NBRC registration, a high school diploma (associate/bachelor's preferred), and at least 1 year of RT experience, preferably in a skilled nursing setting.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab, a 111-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will play a vital role in the delivery of respiratory care services to our patients with various medical conditions.
As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will be responsible for:
Providing respiratory therapy treatments to patients, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy
Conducting respiratory evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
Operating and maintaining respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers
Collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Educating patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management
Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
