Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide independent, high quality respiratory care across diverse clinical settings and patient populations. The role requires assessment, development and adjustment of respiratory care plans within established standards and protocols.

Qualifications include a Co-ARC approved degree, state license, and RRT certification; BLS within 30 days and ACLS/PALS/NRP as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required.
• RRT certification required. Must have RRT to advance to Level II.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date; ACLS, PALS and NRP as required by facility, or within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/adjust respiratory care plans.
• Provide independent, high quality respiratory care across clinical settings.
• Apply clinical knowledge and exercise clinical reasoning in decision-making.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
