Job summary

Mid Coast Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a part-time night shift (24 hrs). The role includes assessment, treatment, monitoring and patient education across care settings, with ongoing professional development and collaboration with the care team.

Required education from a Co-ARC approved school, state license (CRT/RRT), and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 prorated for part-time employment is offered for a limited time.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Current state's Respiratory Care license required; CRT or RRT certification required; RRT required to advance to Respiratory Therapist II.
• BLS required or obtained within 30 days; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by facility or within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, treatment, monitoring and education to patients across care settings.
• Continuously develops clinical expertise, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration while progressing in respiratory care.

Summary:

KnowledgeSkills And Abilities:

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Carerequired. The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.
