Job summary

The Respiratory Therapist I at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME, is responsible for basic respiratory care procedures under supervision, with opportunities to grow clinical expertise while collaborating with the care team.

Role includes patient assessment, treatment, monitoring and education across care settings. Night shift 6:30pm–7:00am, self-scheduling, full or part-time options, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required. CRT or RRT certification required; RRT required to advance.
• Current BLS certification required or within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP as required by facility or within one year of start date.

KnowledgeSkills And Abilities

• Education: Graduate from a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care required. Minimum of a CRT certification required, or a RRT certification is required. Must have an RRT certification to advance to a Respiratory Therapist II. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date.

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
