Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under physician supervision. You will treat patients across all ages with breathing difficulties in diverse healthcare settings.

The role requires current licensure/registration and CPR where applicable; travel assignments are available at multiple MA locations with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.
• Treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and helps patients with breathing issues across age groups in various healthcare settings.

Job description

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
