Jobguard is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide essential respiratory care treatment and diagnostic services to patients of all ages. The role involves setting up ventilation, monitoring patients, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. A current Respiratory Therapist license and various certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS are necessary.

This role provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to both in‑patients and out‑patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. The Respiratory Therapist – Clinical Respiratory Tech (RT‑CRT) sets up and monitors ventilation, weans oxygen therapy, draws and analyzes arterial blood gases and EKGs, delivers intermittent therapy, and assists with changing artificial airways. Services are provided as ordered by a physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area and may be exposed to hazardous medications or waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties.
