Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for travel assignments in Jamaica Plain, MA. This role provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under physician supervision, serving patients from infants to older adults across healthcare facilities.

Travel position offers 40-hour weeks with competitive weekly pay and benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k). RT certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the practicing state.
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; compliance & ethics expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under physician direction.
• Treat conditions affecting the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing.
• Serve patients from infants to the elderly across various health care settings.

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices

• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
