The role serves patients from infants to the elderly across healthcare settings, with required state licensure, CPR, and regulatory compliance. Locations include Redwood City, CA and Palo Alto, CA.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state.
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and pulmonary care under physician direction.
• Contribute to respiratory management and rehabilitation for patients of all ages.

Job description

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
