Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied in Jamaica Plain, MA is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week.

As an RT you will provide respiratory therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation under physician direction across healthcare facilities, serving patients from infants to the elderly in varied settings. Travel experience and strong CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & EthicsExpectations

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.
• The RT treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and helps patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.
