Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a contract part-time role in Akron, OH. The RT will provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under a doctor's direction, treating conditions of the pulmonary system across patient ages.

Role requires current RT certification or state registration, CPR if applicable, TB testing, health certificate, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices.
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
