Job summary

Chatham-Hills-Subacute-Care-Center is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated geriatrics team. The RT will assess and treat residents in a skilled nursing setting, requiring state licensure and independence in therapy delivery.

Responsibilities include initiating therapies, documenting outcomes, and leading quarterly in-services for nursing staff. Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care is preferred. Schedule includes weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
• Experience with tracheotomy
• Experience is a long term care setting
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility
• Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
• Performs related duties as required

Schedule

• This will be your standing schedule. We are looking for a RT that can work the following schedule below consistently.
  • 4- 6 hours per shift; maybe up to 8 hours depending on caseload
  • Saturday and Sunday
