Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a contract - part time role in Canton, OH. The RT provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management and rehabilitation under a doctor’s direction for patients of all ages in healthcare facilities.

Minimum requirements include current RT certification or state registration, about one year of clinical experience (preferred), CPR if applicable, TB screening or chest x-ray if required, a current health certificate, and the

• Provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under a doctor’s direction.
• Treat conditions affecting the pulmonary system and assist patients from infants to elderly in healthcare settings.
• Maintain adherence to professional standards and maintain required certifications.

Pay: $50 / Hour

Hours: 12.00

Location: Canton, OH

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices

• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencepreferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
