Hourly Pay Range:
$33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:

What you will need:
Education:
Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
License/Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)within 24 months of employment
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)within 24 months of employment
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 24 months of employment
What you will do:
Under minimal supervision, provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient charts.Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and assists in developing procedures as requested.
