Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered at Jersey City Medical Center to provide respiratory care across hospital settings, including ventilation management and emergency airway support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• NJ State license to practice Respiratory Therapy.
• Active NBRC registry or CRT eligibility.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients hospital-wide.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and airway emergencies.
• Perform arterial/capillary blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize therapy.
