Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated patient-care team. You will assess respiratory status, apply therapies, and manage ventilation across emergency, critical care, and acute settings using advanced respiratory technology.

Qualifications

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• State licensure as Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days; instructor eligibility noted.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and interpret breath sounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy: oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance and other treatments.
• Manage ventilation and airways, including invasive/noninvasive ventilation and monitoring.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment; ensure readiness and infection-prevention standards.
