Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Central Carolina Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across ICU, ED, and labor/delivery units. You will manage airway care, mechanical ventilation, and patient education as part of a collaborative hospital team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
• Current North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages.
• Perform airway management and mechanical ventilation.
• Deliver respiratory therapies and emergency response.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care.
• Support ICU, ED, and labor/delivery teams as needed.

Schedule: Days, 7:00am - 7:00pm, Weekend rotation, Holiday rotation (2 annually)

How you'll contribute

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll be an important part of a collaborative hospital team providing respiratory care to patients of all ages. You'll support patients throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Labor & Delivery, providing respiratory treatments, airway management, mechanical ventilation, emergency response, and patient education.
